Its spruce top w/its Mahogany back & sides have always been the perfect combo for this small bodied design, but now improved w/its deeper body for maximum bass response. Its mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard & is full sized w/a nice soft V shape. Its white script logo depicts the cool 30’s vibe. Its Kluson Deluxe tuners hold tune perfectly. Its white oval label is perfectly in place. It was described as the “best balance of sound” in the Gibson catalog in 1934 there were countless players who fell in love with their tone characteristics. Even in modern times, its popularity has not declined & it is loved all over the world as a guitar with excellent characteristics such as its easy playability w/a rich volume of bass & treble tones. In 1993 Gibson produced this 1st batch of “Blues King” L-00’s w/the help of B.B. King in all its advertising.
