The Telecaster w/2 pickups & Esquire w/1 pickup guitars are the original solid body guitars produced by Leo Fender. Originally most were painted in a Blonde finish w/maple neck. This is a fabulous 1 of a kind 1 family owned from new all original 1964 Fender Esquire very special ordered in its glorious Custom Color of Candy Apple Red Metallic w/a silver undercoat over a lightweight alder body. Its also sports a fabulous & ultra rare original “Green’gard”. It was spec’d out w/1 of Fenders rarest options…its got a factory extra wide “C” spec neck which has a crazy rare 1 3/4″ nut width like a Les Paul as most were a “B” size w/a 1 11/16″ nut width. It has a curved dark Brazilian Rosewood veneer fingerboard date stamped November 1964 making it one of the most desirable Esquires ever produced w/its original factory “Spaghetti Logo” ! It’s got a clean set of Kluson Deluxe single line tuners & its L-series serial # of L78XXX adorning its 4-bolt neck plate. Loaded w/its original single great sounding lead bridge pickup has pot codes dated to the 12th week of 1965. It’s as clean as any Candy Apple Red guitar extant showing just a bit of wear w/a few chips mostly on its side edges. The 3-way changed out & in the case pocket w/its bridge cover.
