Description
This Gibson SG Exclusive, produced in 1979, was the first limited run SG model ever produced. It was supposedly meant to be limited to 500 units, but it is said that only 478 were actually produced. This is a really cool last of the 70’s type SG in an all original Black finish. Its block inlaid rosewood fingerboard feels great & its neck profile is very comfortable & worn really smooth. Its headstock has Gibson’s famous inlay w/a set of factory Grover tuners. It’s loaded w/2 potent original T-Top Cream Dirty Fingers Humbuckers w/a rotary coil tap switch. Its smaller cream pickgard & 3-way switch trim ring looks great. Still retaining its original Schaller bridge, TP-6 stop tailpiece & gold capped knobs. Overall she’s exceptionally clean having no repairs w/a delightful patina & comes in an original chainsaw molded hard case.
