Description

This is a stunning 1960 Gretsch 6120 Guitar just in from its 1 & only owner, a Mr. David Graff, from Indiana Pa. yes PA. @ the Indiana Music House for a whopping $300. (huge money in 1960) & enjoyed it sparingly over the last 64 years. Attached are pics of David from a gig in 1965 & in my shop this week. To see it in its gorgeous original unfaded Orange finish is what this is Cowboy guitar all about. Accentuated by F-Holes, its gold hardware, Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and Bigsby B6C vibrato finishing off w/a set of Filter’tron pickups that’ll carve out the ultimate country, rockabilly and rock tones with every note. It’s a late model w/the thinner body depth & Zero Fret as on all of Brian Setzers’ favorite 6120 players. Its open back tuners are quite clean & work well. Its original sculpted gold pickup bezels have 1 chippy & its gold knobs are all tidy. Its original gold lucite pickgard is in the case whilst sporting a nice repop. She’s got a very clean label. Other than 1 tiny piece of white trim by the cutaway, this thing is problem free unlike so many of these 6120’s. This is truly near mint in every respects & comes complete w/its original COA & some killer case candy all in its original Gretsch White Cowboy hard case.
