1987 Rickenbacker 360/12 "BT" 12-string

This is a very cool 1986 Rickenbacker 360/12 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This Rick features a White nitro lacquer finish and is also notable for the BT designation which stands for “Black Trim.” This near 40 year old Rickenbacker is quite impressive w/its tuxedo good looks & a combination of factory black and chrome hardware is notably rare. Tonally, there’s nothing that can match the iconic jangle, chime, and shimmer of the Rickenbacker 12 string design, and there’s plenty of warmth and sonic variety available between the two original Hi-Gain pickups. Despite the Hi-Gain moniker, these pickups are actually very conservatively wound with modest output that keeps the top end snap and sparkle of the Rickenbacker sound very present in the mix. The guitar has a vibrant and clear acoustic voice. The Rickenbacker 12-string guitar has always been a steadfast factor for any 60’s Rock Music Fans as every band had someone playing one ie George Harrison, Tom Petty & Pete Townsend to name a few. She’s excellent overall & a completely original showing a good amount of play time & enjoyment she’s seen. She comes complete w/her original hard case.
