1957 Gibson J-45

We now have available another rare 1957 Gibson J-45, it’s an early large pickgard example that’s really cool, clean & all original. It’s been blessed by having 1 of Gibson’s most popular Dark Sunburst finishes over a spruce top w/a fabulous rich color that changed by 1960. Its ultra clean mahogany back & sides & its ultra nice full sized mahogany  neck is quite clean too. Its still sports its original n0-line Kluson 3-in-line tuners w/very white plastic buttons. about this rare beast is that is has a “U” stamped heel code for 1957. The neck is straight as an arrow with slight relief. The action right now is wonderful, very comfortable and perfectly intonated up and down the neck with no buzzing. The truss rod has plenty of room to move in both directions. This rare J-45 is truly near mint in all respects & comes in an 80’s Brown/pink lined hard case.
