Description
This is a very cool 1962 Gibson SG Special in the beautiful beat sweet Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan and originally intended as a student guitar, the 1962 Les Paul Special has since become a rock and roll classic. This has a flat 1 piece mahogany neck that is 1 & 11/16″ wide at the nut. It is in very good shape overall w/a ton of patina & has a powerful pair of “Lollar” P-90’s that kick ass for sure. It’s equipped w/a set of original 3-on-a-side Kluson tuners w/a factory short Maestro Vibrato unit. It’s still sporting its black laminated pickgard, 4 chrome capped black knobs & its stop tailpiece w/its factory trem. It’s got a crack in the body below the input jack (now glued & not spreading). But the cool factor just flows from this bad boy as you can see. It’s been played a bunch & ready to gig with today. It’s a very cool 67 year old Les Paul Jr. It’s quite cool in every respect & comes in a decent hard case.
