1970 Fender Precision Bass

Just in is another fabulous 1970 Precision Bass perhaps a 1 of 1 “Maple Cap” necks w/a slim “A” neck profile just 1.57″ like a Jazz Bass, its original Sunburst finish is quite worn in cool w/a brillient 3-tone ‘burst over a nice lightweight Alder body, its Rosewood Neck has no neck stamp date & is pretty clean, its truss rod is cranked tight yet she plays perfectly, its original pepperoni Tortoise pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s best & last great Post-CBS P Basses, its split pickup is super smooth w/killer sound !, its pot codes date to the 8th week of 1970, its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge including its 2 pickup covers, it has a groovy patina for a 55 year old original, it feels excellent, truly lightweight at 8 1/2 lbs. w/covers, a very rare find indeed w/a Maple Cap slim A width neck, crazy cool & rare !, she’s excellent, all original & she comes w/an 80’s Hard Case.
