1973 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass

This is a very clean & extremely good original 1973 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass that has all the right stuff. Its Maple finish is so classic a la McCartney w/a cool factor that only the final ones had at the end of production is what this stunning “Checkerboard” bound bad boy exhibits ! Its triangular fingerboard inlays are so Ricky ! It’s got both its original “Toaster” rhythm & bridge pickups that sound great. It’s got pot codes that date to 1973. Its serial # is “MB” which dates to February 1973. She’s got their Grover tuners w/the cool curved finger keys. Just the way you want to see it. It plays & intonates quite well. It’s got a neck thru of maple w/a single walnut stripe. It’s got some chippys in the paint here & there. It’s excellent overall & ready to use & comes w/a newer molded gray hard case.
