1978 Hamer Standard Left Handed

Hey all of you Cheap Trick & Hamer guitar fans…this is a very rare & very special ordered 1978 Hamer Standard in a “Factory Left Handed” version. This is a very early 4-digit serial #’d Explorer styled Hamer w/a delicious slightly faded Tobacco Sunburst finish over a perfect book matched Flamey Maple Top. It’s got a cherry stained mahogany back, sides & 1 piece neck. It’s unusual having a Bound-Block inlaid Ebony fingerboard like a Les Paul Custom (most were dot inlaid rosewood). Its 2 factory installed “Zebra” Dimarzio pickups are simply the best Rock & Roll set of its day. It also sports a set of Grover tuners & black speed knobs. Rick Nelson was Hamer’s best client for many years & he alone put them on the map. These early 1st issue 4-digit #’d examples have exploded in value over the past few years. This is as early as they came & we need to find a well to do Lefty lurking in the rafters waiting to own this bad boy. Having some definite playtime over its life, she still has that ultimate 70’s vibe & cannot be duplicated for any price today. Other than having its bridge post moved ever so slightly & now returned to its original spot (invisible now), it’s truly Excellent overall & comes in its original lefty black tolex hard case.
