1980 Jose Ramirez 2a Classical Guitar

This fabulous Classical guitar was made by the best in the biz by Jose Ramirez in Madrid, Spain. It’s a very special model 2a built in 1980 utilizing what appears to be some of the last Brazilian Rosewood available & it’s quite stunning. It features a Red Cedar top, some outstanding striped Brazilian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay and bridge. The neck is made of cedar. The guitar has some pick wear & a few very small finish chips on the top. Anyone questioning the difference between a 1a & 2 a…this is 1 of the finest playing & sounding of any 1a we’ve ever had over the last 36 years in business. The Bass response is as good as it gets ! It’s a fine example of Spanish craftsmanship. It’s excellent overall & comes in its original hard case.
