Description
This is an all original extremely rare example from Yamaha similar to the guitar that Carlos Santana made famous…his SBC 2000 solid body from the earliest production run of 1983. This is Yamaha’s top line version called an SBG 3000 w/a very special custom color run that was re-released in 2009 as its their mainstay great seller, but this is alas…an original one in Metallic Black w/Gold hardware from head to tailpiece complete with its abalone body binding, an ebony fretboard & two Yamaha Alnico V Humbuckers. It’s beautifully inlaid all over & has hardly been played ever. It’s truly near mint other than some fingerprints LOL. Comes w/a cool sign off sheet from August 22, 1983 by Bruce w/its original black pickgard in the pocket in its original hard case.
