Description
This Acousticaster was built in 1993 and is renowned for its specific acoustic sound with the playing comfort of an electric guitar. Its got a beautiful Black finished maple top. Due to the chambered body the guitar is as light as a feather and you don’t have the problem of unwanted feedback. This guitar from Godin blurs the lines between acoustic and electric! Features a familiar electric body shape with a chambered Mahogany back topped with a Spruce top. Built-in under saddle pickup and onboard preamp with convenient top mounted controls. The specific sound of the Acousticaster is brought about by the eighteen metal pins mounted beneath the bridge. Godin calls it the “mechanical harp”. Whilst playing the guitar the mechanical harp resonates along with the strings what makes for the characteristic Godin sound. Equipped with built-in LR Baggs pre-amp the Godin is a versatile guitar. The three-way EQ, volume and gain sliders make it possible to adjust the sound of your guitar. On the body there is some minor user damage, but nothing to serious. Its rather excellent overall & comes in a nice gig bag.
