1993 Ovation Adamas I "Special Order" 5-String Bass

This is a very special 1-of-a-kind a Top Line Adamas I 5-string Bass. Made personally for myself & The Guitar Broker in 1993 when Bill Kaman & I made a deal on a few vintage Ovations Bill wanted & said he’d make me something special…in fact he said I’ll make whatever you want. So I said I wanted Adamas I 5 string bass w/a carved headstock w/its shallow bowl body body. Bill took it on his own to put their Ovation trademarked pearl inlays up the fingerboard & on the bridge as well as around the whole border of the fingerboard. A fabulous idea but not many to step up for such an expensive bass back in ’93. Notice the personalized label inside from Bill to myself which tells the whole story. This is one bass I will have until the end of my time on this planet. We now have a wonderful trio of Adamas’ for all to see in the shop in our personal collection. $Not For Sale.
