1996 Gibson Les Paul Std. LPR9 '59 Reissue

This is a beautiful example of Gibson’s prime time in the mid-90’s to really correct their making of its original 1959 Les Paul Std. Special ordered new by Elliott Rubinson owner of Thoroughbred Music in Tampa & sold to its only owner, Mr. Joe DelFrate until this week. Its beautifully faded Ice Tea ’burst finish is quite ridiculous over an 5A tight 3D “ribbon flame” Maple top. Its see-thru cherry red back, sides & neck are brilliant utilizing some very nicely figured mahogany. She’s equipped w/2 early factory PAF pickups. Its original pots are dated to 1996. It’s sporting a set of Kluson Deluxe tuners w/a nickel tun-a-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. Lightweight ! This is an exciting Les Paul unlike most from their Custom Shop. It is truly Near Mint & comes w/its most importent case candy all in its original brown hard case.
