Description
The CR series of electric upright basses by NS Design features a lean solid body, full scale fingerboard and an adjustable neck and bridge to suit all players preferences. It covers an array of sounds with 2 pickup systems with multiple controls to sculpt the perfect sound to meet a variety of players needs.It has an adjustable neck and bridge with a full scale fretless fingerboard, and notably a two pickup Polar bridge-mounted piezo and EMG magnetic system. Wired to these pickups is an active 18V hum-canceling preamp with volume, bass, and treble EQ controls. Really great blend and volume control options to dial in every variable of your tone – very versatile. She’s exceptionally clean overall. Packs up nicely in a portable bag for easy transport and sold with the tripod stand.

- MAGNETIC PICKUP: Low impedance EMG magnetic pickup system, with individually adjustable coils, neodymium magnets and low noise, hum-canceling preamp. Produces smooth pizzicato tone not unlike an electric bass guitar. (Magnetic pickups are not recommended for bowing.)
